Good for Grad Students
The Ivy Condominium is is located directly across the river from Brickell City Center. The location is great fit for someone who wants to be near the action but not in the middle of it. Building is a little older (2008) but well kept up with. Property employees are pleasant and attentive. The management office is similarly helpful but only open when people are at work.

Property Management
The management seems to want to make living in the building harder for you. Unhelpful- no one ever knows whats going on and cannot answer your questions. They unlawfully tow cars, they add high fees for literally everything that they possibly could. Expect at least a thousand dollars to be paid in move in fees up front.

Ivy Condo
The Ivy is a great building right off of I-95 so you do not have to deal with a lot of the traffic associated with the other buildings in downtown Miami. It is also directly across the bridge from Brickell City Center and Mary Brickell Village which have lots of shops and bars and restaurants.

pros: nice building, nice amenities (i.e. pool and gym), reasonable price rent, great location
cons: terrible property management, parking is insanely expensive even on the 9th floor! they don't allow pets, building more on an already crowded lot and rent is getting unreasonably more expensive for listings
