Quite and Convenient Apartments

Summit at Flatirons is a great place to live for a law student because it is very quiet and you are never able to hear the neighbors. The community mostly consists of young professionals. It is located close to an entrance onto highway 36, which takes you directly to the law school campus, so it is very convenient. My daily commute to the law school is about 17 minutes. Leasing office/maintenance is attentive and kind. Another added bonus is that there is a covered parking garage attached to the building so that you won't have to worry about getting snow off of your car in the winter months.

Housing Review

This apartment complex offers mountain views, spacious living space, fantastic amenities, and friendly neighbors. It's a very dog friendly community as well. Great spot for those looking to be outside of Boulder and for a community of other working professionals.

The gym, pool, and other community spaces are great and management is very friendly and responsive to all our needs (always less than 24 hours after we submit maintenance requests). The complex is adjacent to a large trail network for walking/running/biking.

The only downside is the location being further outside of Boulder. However, for those looking for a place between Boulder and Denver, this is a great spot!

Good space, not ideal management

Compared to apartments in Boulder, you get more "bang for your buck." The apartments are large, with have plenty of storage space, washer and dryer in unit, large bathtubs, and balcony space. There is a gym, large pool, hot tub, fire pits, and grills on site. Additionally, there is a parking garage with secured access.

The only con to this property is the management. Smoking policies and quiet hours are not always enforced.

Getting around Broomfield

Broomfield Reviews

25 reviews
Broomfield is an interesting place. It is for sure a commuter town; if you are looking for multiple food options and nightlife close by you should look elsewhere. If you are a homebody who enjoys taking walks with pretty views of the front range with wide open skies its a good spot. However, even if you enjoy nightlife and food options the location puts you in a good spot to get to a lot of different places within 15ish minutes.
Nice area. Not very walkable, but close to a lot including restaurants, breweries, and open space parks. Not too far from Boulder or Denver. Sometimes traffic is bad, but I don’t mind it.
This complex is next to a senior living complex, and the people who live there are incredibly social and kind. Located in a very safe area.
Coming from a larger city into Broomfield was a bit of a shock since I thought that it would be more like Denver since it was still so close. But I honestly love the quieter, slower pace just outside the city while being so close to both Denver and Boulder. You get all of the benefits of both cities without some of the major headaches of either.
Safe, quiet neighborhood. Apparently there is a problem with car break-ins/theft, but we haven't had an issue. I also think this is a general CO-wide problem (or at least Boulder/Denver problem).
The neighborhood is very safe and right across from a mall. Lots of food options, although most are chain locations.
We haven't had any issues yet, but there are reports of car jackings and other crime elsewhere in the city.
It’s nice, quiet residential area near lots of open space parks. Not very close to public transit although the flatiron flyer station is a 5 min drive. Not a ton within walking distance when it comes to things to do or restaurants. Most decadent food (non-fast food or major chains) are 10+ mins driving away.
