Review for Union Baseline

Convenient location near the law school (less than a 10-minute walk) and near all bus tops (making this an ideal spot if you don't have a car). Appliances are all new within the last few years and the living room/kitchen area is fairly spacious, same with bedrooms/bathrooms. Apartments come with a balcony but this doesn't do much if you're on the first floor like I am. Additionally, the apartment can get noisy due to the thin walls (you WILL hear your upstairs neighbors which is annoying at night) and the rent is more expensive compared to what my friends are paying in Boulder with roommates.

Great place to live close to school

I really enjoy living here due to its proximity to the law school. The buildings are a little older, but it is still pretty nice and spacious with okay storage and amenities. It is also pretty quiet. Overall, I think it is a great place to live for law school.

Overall very happy

Pros: The management is very responsive and helpful, the man who is in charge of maintenance is friendly and helpful, the location is great, and the floorplans are roomy and well lit. I generally feel safe, and so far my packages have never been stolen.
Cons: I still have not gotten the key to my storage unit, there is generally some screaming at night (mostly drunk undergrads), the rent is high, and I have to pay for my own internet and utilities.
No opinion: I have not used the pool, and while they do offer multiple social events, I have not yet been able to attend one with my schedule. I do not have a dog, but it seems like everyone else does.

Its pretty good but not perfect - also very expensive

I think the size of the apartment is great. Its spacious and very comfortable. It comes with a washer and dryer and all appliances. You have your own bathroom and some of the apartments even come with a fireplace.

Great location! But pricey

Brookside is in a great location! Just across the street from the law school, it's located a five-minute walk from class, a 15-minute bike/bus ride to Pearl Street, and a five-minute walk to the bus stop for the direct bus to Denver or the airport. It's also located across the street from a Whole Foods, a liquor store, a yoga studio, and several restaurants. The apartments are newer and well-maintained, there's a pool, and the complex allows pets. Unfortunately, the rent is high, and they nickel-and-dime you for EVERYTHING. Water, electricity, gas, sewer, parking, pet rent - you name it, they have a fee. Additionally, because the complex is so close to campus, you run the risk of having an apartment full of undergrads partying on the floor above you. This risk is elevated if you're in a one-bedroom unit, which are inexplicably placed on the first floor below the three-bedroom shared units. Also, the walls are thin, so if you have loud neighbors or people who flush the toilet/do laundry a lot, you'll hear everything. All the time. All in all, the apartments are worth it for the location, and would likely be best if you share a top floor apartment with others to reduce the noise level and the cost.
