Great spot

It’s a little far from SMU ~15 minutes driving but is a great apartment. Big especially for the cost and very homey

Pretty good place for large number of roommates

I have two roommates, and our 3 br 3.5 bath place is massive and amazing. Would highly recommend if you have a larger group wanting to have a nice place.

Amazing location central to the fun of Uptown but in the quieter neighborhood of State Thomas

I have loved living in State Thomas Ravello. Living right on the free trolley line makes getting downtown a breeze. I even commuted by trolley to my downtown office! The apartment is really quiet IF you are on the Clyde Lane side. I never heard the McKinney Ave party crowd. The monthly social events are top notch. The Cares Team is amazing and truly try to make all residents feel welcome.

Love it!

I love the interior of my apartment! Great sized bathroom and closets. The location is also wonderful because I love the State Thomas district--close to everything. Also, we have a pool & gym, so everything is centrally located. My cat loves sunbathing in the large windows as well.

Great location!

This apartment complex is at a great location in State Thomas of Uptown. Very close to many bars, trolley stops, and parks. The streets are well lit and we felt very safe. The apartment is nice and the concrete walls are excellent at keeping noise contained. Management is nice and responsive. Amenities are just average, with a nice small gym but unimpressive pool and no rooftop.

Great location

Great location for younger people who enjoy nightlife, or just grabbing a few drinks at a local bar. A lot of active people live in the area too with the Katy Trails only .5 miles away. Management is getting better and they help out when they can. I would recommend this place.

Great location with a young/trendy vibe

You can't beat the location of this uptown Dallas location. Just feet from bars & restaurants, a few blocks from shopping, and 1/2 mile from the Katy Trail. Maintenance is phenomenal and super speedy with requests. Management communicates well. My only complaint is the lack of security, considering we are in a city. Only the parking garage has cameras (law says you can't have them in the hallways of apartments), but I think this will be true for most apartments in the area. I see quite a few people living alone and a lot of people who have been there for 4+ years.

It’s a great mix of young professionals. There aren’t a whole lot of undergrads living over here, which is really nice. I love being so close to so many shops and restaurants, but not too close, like I feel you’d be in Uptown. Knox Heights is on the strip of McKinney perpendicular to Knox, so you get the location benefits without the noise.
Located directly between victory park and uptown, only blocks from the tollway, Glasshouse has a premier location. The neighborhood offers a spectrum of restaurant and bar options, and the Katy Trail is a short walk away.
Great place to live. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and grocery stores within walking distance. I do not have to leave a three mile radius unless I want to.
The location of this complex is excellent, especially if you are without a car. There are probably 8+ restaurants that are within a 7 minute walk, mostly on Lemmon Ave, Oak Lawn Ave, and Cedar Springs Rd. Walgreens, Kroger, Genesis Thrift Shop, a public library, and UPS are also a 5-10 minute walk away, so many conveniences are nearby. A post office is about a 15 minute walk away. Hardly anywhere in Dallas is as walkable as this area.

This is a very active neighborhood with a bar scene on the weekends. There are homeless people who live around here, but they have never bothered me. While I wouldn't call it a dangerous neighborhood, there is probably a little more crime than some larger complexes such as the Village.
Great neighborhood, plenty of food and shopping and easy access by walking and biking.
it is a relatively young area-everyone is pretty friendly
Perfect neighborhood. There are two bars on McKinney that a lot of SMU students love. Most of the bars are on Henderson across 75 and easily walkable too. It’s a very safe area where I feel comfortable walking my dog alone at night as a girl in my early 20s. So nice to live close to the Katy Trail and less than a mile from SMU.
The West Village area has everything a young professional needs. You're walking distance to many of the stores you have to go to the mall to have access to (Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, The Gap, etc.) and you even have access to a local movie theater. When you throw in bars, restaurants, and a large Starbucks...you have a solid spot. I highly recommend the area.
