Our complex is mostly filled with students and families. It is very close to the Charles River with some great views. The complex is just a few blocks away from the Charles River Apartments that Brandeis provides. These apartments are on the Campus Loop which is very convenient to take to campus. Walking can take about 15-30 minutes depending on what part of campus but it is only about 5 minutes by the shuttles.
The area near Brandeis is quiet and safe, but some times it is too quiet to the point that it is boring since there is hardly any restaurants or shops nearby. It is secluded almost.
Mixed neighborhood with families, students and those who work in the area
Seems safe, family-friendly
good
Living in the Waltham area I find to be extremely nice and I very much enjoy my short walk each day. Overall I find the area to be very beautiful and relaxing, particularly when compared to living closer to the city. The area has more of a suburban feel to it. There is a hospital across the street and an elementary school down the road
Diverse, park across the street, lots of kids playing, near other college students and locals.
I enjoy getting to know the town.
