Title

Management is great and super responsive. The apartment and buildings are clean, well maintained, and updated. Depending on where in each building the apartment is, the view could be of a parking lot or the forest, but I have a great view of the river from my balcony. Safety-wise, it's very secure. There's a fob lock on the building and a digital lock on the apartment itself. I'm a woman living alone and haven't felt unsafe walking my dog at night. One negative is that, because it's right by the river, the parking lot can flood where the elevation is lower. It's easy enough to park on higher ground, though. Another negative is that it's far from public transit and any cafes, bars, or restaurants. It's about fifteen minutes to campus, though. It's expensive, but I'd recommend it to someone who doesn't mind the cons and has enough in savings/scholarships/a partner's income/etc. to justify the cost.

Overall Solid Apartment

Overall, I enjoy the apartment I have. It is spacious for the price with up to date appliances. If you're into cooking the apartment has a gas range. The only issues I have are minor complaints about a lack of natural light in my specific unit and that I'm not in love with the fixtures for the sinks.

Wonderful Place To Live!

If you are looking to live in the suburbs in an affordable, pretty new apartment complex, look no further! This is a very well maintained and friendly community. Parking is free and plentiful. Neighbors are usually very friendly. No crazy pet restrictions - there are no breed restrictions on dogs (just needs to be friendly). Management is friendly and easy to get a hold of. Maintenance staff is trustworthy, efficient, and helpful. Amenities include a pool (kept clean and outdoors, available in the summer through September), wonderful coffee/hot chocolate machine, continental breakfast on weekdays, lunch once a weekend (I believe Sundays - haven't gone to this in a while), well maintained gym (not huge, but has enough equipment that I'm never waiting for a machine). For runners, hikers, or bikers, the complex is right off the Schuylkill trail that goes into Philadelphia and right next to Valley Forge National Park. The big negatives of this complex: it's a little higher in rent than I would like, you have to drive to get anywhere, and it's not very convenient to get to any public transportation. Overall, I would definitely recommend taking a look here for those who want to be outside the city.
