High Price, Low Quality

I get that DC is expensive, that isn't surprising to anyone. But with that cost comes fairly high expectations, which Parc Riverside continues to not meet. The management team is regularly unresponsive to emails, regularly needing several follow-up emails before a response, and the responses are always pretty rude in tone. There has been an elevator down in the west building more often than they have all been working, which is a huge point of frustration for the residents. Despite these ongoing issues, they sent my roommate and I an offer to renew our lease, but with a rent increase of $300... needless to say we are not renewing. The fitness center in the east building is regularly swarmed with mosquitoes and there is an ongoing drip from the ceiling that makes the stationary bikes nearly unusable.

On the bright side, the concierge and maintenance staffs are incredible and always such a big help. The west rooftop gym is also well-kept and rarely busy, and having two rooftop pools is hard to beat.

It's too bad the Toll Brothers management clearly does not care about its residents, because this building has so much potential to be amazing.

Good for Older Professional Married Couple

My spouse and I have lived here for almost five year (three before I began law school). Its a good apartment complex. Most of the resident are in their late 20s early 30s or with young children. Very pet friendly.

Great!

This place has a great gym. It also has a great rooftop with fire pits, a pool, fire pits, and a big tv. The apartment is nice and average sized. The floors get dirty very easily. There are electric stoves and ovens. More buildings keep going up around it so the view isn't as good as it used to be.

Parc Riverside

I recently moved to Parc Riverside and I couldn't be happier with my experience thus far. The Navy Yard area has a lot to offer and there are more apartment buildings and restaurants breaking ground in the area everyday. My unit has brand new appliances and tons of windows for natural light. The amenities at this apartment building are the best they have in the area. the rooftop terrace and pool is amazing and the gym has some of the nicest equipment.

Mediocre Location

I've lived in this apartment for six months and am not completely happy with the location. Having moved from New York City, I didn't know the DC area too well, and I found the reviews and the information about this building's location to be a bit deceiving. While it's located near a metro and some bars/restaurants, it is no where near the metropolis that people think. In fact, I find that the location is one of the worst things about this building. It's too far from downtown DC. I would look more carefully for those looking for a luxury building but don't want to be in a sparsely populated neighborhood of DC.

Great New Area!

I have really loved living in Southeast DC! It is conveniently located near a metro stop, allowing for easy access to other DC neighborhoods. The building itself is spacious and beautifully-designed and is very homey. The amenities are far and away the best reason to live in this building. I have loved having a rooftop pool and a courtyard access. It's great for entertaining and is never crowded--even on weekends. I would recommend for anyone looking for a swanky building for a good price (first month's rent free) to try this building!

Great Place to Live

This apartment complex could not have been designed any more beautifully. Within easy access of major transportation routes and conveniences, it is situated in SE DC by the Waterfront, and is easily the sleekest place down by all the other high rises. It's modern rooftop is a great place to entertain and is never crowded on evenings and weekends. The billiards room and courtyard are also neat features that other apartment complexes lack. There is great lighting and spaciousness in each individual unit. Doesn't make you feel crammed like some of the other competitors. I have loved living here and love the area too!

Brand new high rise apartment building in Navy Yard. The amenities and rooftop are the best in the area. Management is always responsive. It's really the perfect location and only a 5 minute walk to Capitol Hill.

Capitol Hill Riverfront Reviews

I love this area! We're close to metros, grocery stores, and great local businesses. It's a very close walk to parks and the Anacostia waterfront. It can feel removed from the law school, which I enjoy, though if you're new to the area it can be more challenging.
I love the Riverfront so much. There are bars and restaurants, a great grocery store, plenty of events and things to do, and there's something new being built every day. The metro is accessible within a few blocks of most apartments as there are two entrances, and the population is full of pet-loving young professionals. Did I mention the Nationals stadium is in the middle of it all? I can't wait to see what my hood looks like in 5 years.
The neighborhood is largely under construction but in ten years or so it will be awesome. In the meantime, there are a lot of great restaurants, the waterfront, and the baseball stadium.
The areas is constantly changing with new restaurants and bars. During the summer the the Yards Park is one of the most beautiful and popular parks int he city!
Looking forward to more grocery stores and shops opening, but I like the quiet of the neighborhood. Easy walk to the water and the Capitol.
I love walking around this neighborhood because it is rather quiet and residential. There are many parks nearby.
The neighborhood has been fantastic. Tons of construction of new restaurants and retail. Great to explore.
This is an up-and-coming area of DC as I understand it. Most of the things around here are new. It's a little expensive, but most of DC is that way as well. A lot of the people who live here seem to be young professionals. There's lots of parks for dogs. It's a pretty area with plenty to do and it's quieter than other parts of DC I've visited. Not quite as cute as some other areas, but that's ok. It has its own thing going on.
