Bryant Pattengill East

Mainly Residential and Farther from Campus
Bryant Pattengill East is about a ten minute drive from the University of Michigan. There are plenty of grocery stores, dining options, and easy access to public transportation. For fun - Revel and Roll is a popular family-friendly bowling alley with an attached restaurant and sports bar. Joust Fitness is a great gym for athletes and anyone looking to stay active. Clinton Park is an excellent place to enjoy outdoor activities and socialize with friends - it even has basketball and tennis courts for those who like to play. If you're looking for food, there's an amazing home-style Mexican restaurant here called Mi Compadre. There's also a Whole Foods Market nearby.

Most residents drive or take transit when going downtown. Living farther away from the hustle and bustle means you'll have more space but getting around won't be as convenient.

Quiet, and safe, but still close enough to downtown to easily get there at any point in the day either by public transit or by driving.

Young Professionals, young families, and grad students seem to make up most of the residents. There are some events, but its not a highly social apartment complex. Lots of dog owners, so if you have a dog you'll certainly run into tons of folks walking dogs.

The neighborhood is quiet and is a mix of apartment/townhouse complexes and single family homes. I've never felt unsafe and public transit is good.

It’s a great place if you want to live close to the school, but want to be away from the madness of campus.

Besides the traffic noise, the neighborhood is mostly quiet. It is far enough away from campus that the majority of residents are families rather than students.
