Good, but not the best

Rooms at Younion are limited in size, storage and are extremely overpriced. Since I was searching for apartments in May there were limited choices left and little deals being made. The location on E. Washington and South Division is great for going out or grabbing a bite to eat. However, parking is extremely scarce and the building charges $200/month for their temperature controlled parking garage. There are no closets in the room just armoires, no bathroom storage, and limited kitchen storage for 4 people. Some rooms do not have windows and the ones that do are over $1000/month at minimum. They charge $100 in utilities, which is absurd and refused to make compensations when the internet was out for two weeks. The only thing I enjoy about this building is its location and the large floor to ceiling windows.

Disappointed By Management

The apartment itself is certainly sufficient. It is small, but nicely furnished. There however have been problems with management. The apartment was not cleaned between residents. The refrigerator, microwave, and several lights had to be replaced soon after move-in. These were things that should have been checked before. The apartment is also undergoing significant renovations on the ground floor and the top floor. These renovations were not communicated to residents beforehand and have caused significant disruption. I would unfortunately not recommend this apartment based on the above.

Great University Apartment

Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at 411 Lofts. However, it was a bit pricey for college students, but the amenities were quite nice. There were constant issues with the printer though, and the roommate matching could have been much better, but I still would recommend 411 Lofts to future college students.

Great Apartment

Great apartment, but slightly overpriced for college students. However, the roommate matching was not good at all, so that aspect needs improvement. Overall though, very clean and the staff was great. I would highly recommend it to any prospective students who are willing to pay a pretty penny.

Competitive prices and incredible staff

411 Sterling Lofts may not be the flashiest apartment in Ann Arbor but it makes up for a small lack of amenities by providing high quality, furnished housing along with superb staff and a constant effort to improve the building. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment complex.

Living at 411 lofts

Perhaps this apartment is not that expensive compared to other ones on the central campus. Rent includes everything except parking. It sits at a nice location: close to restaurants, walking distance to downtown and many bus stations, including blue bus. This makes my life easier since all my classes are on north campus.

Great

Great experience living here for two years. Good amenities and a cheaper, nice apartment building for Ann Arbor. Would love to live here a third year but cannot afford it when I will have to pay for my own living. Maintenance is great and always timely. Thin walls between bedrooms and kitchen and rooms.

Downtown Reviews

Downtown is great for restaurants and shops! Better than some of the areas where mostly students live, in my opinion. There are a lot of homeless people who frequently try to interact and are sometimes not very polite. Crazy busy on game days, there will be an hour wait for food.
Great area to go out in as a graduate student. There are plenty of eateries nearby and buses that go to North campus. The bus stop is approximately 10 minutes walk away and then it's about another 10 minutes to North Campus depending on traffic.
Great location near a lot of bars and restaurants and not far from the law school
Great eats, fun events, incredibly safe area. The restaurants are fantastic, you are at the epicenter of the social scene, and its a great place to walk around and explore.
Close to downtown; away from fraternity/sorority life and undergrad partying. Train is closeby which can be noisy on some mornings, but hasn't been an issue.
<10min to all the downtown bars/main street

1 min to skeeps

<10min walk to Ross and University Street.

15 min from the football stadium/bus
As you walk outside you are right where everything is happening in the city of Ann Arbor with many restaurant options and close to campus!
Love this neighborhood because it is so close to many great restaurants. Walking distance to almost anywhere on campus.
