Decent
Ann Arbor is fairly pricey, and Woodbury is no exception. You will get more space for your money here than downtown, but it’s also a VERY old complex. “Updated” units have a slap of new paint, fresh carpet, and new appliances, but typical “old building” issues abound. It’s very loud and simple door closes will shake and reverberate throughout the building, and the poorly insulated walls are very drafty in the winter. Expect poor efficiency with things like HVAC and water heater, so your electric bill will be high and it might take 5 minutes for your shower to get warm. Maintenance is often minimally equipped to fix things, but that can be offset with a quick note to the city housing inspector to catalyze any urgent and essential complaints (like when your front door literally falls off for the 3rd time in a month). They charge you per person for a share of the entire community water use, which is about $50/each, even though there’s no way you personally use that much water as the sprinklers spray the sidewalk in November. There’s no built in lighting or ceiling fans, so buy lamps!
But hey, they have a dog park, large bedrooms, a shuttle, and parking…

Good, but has its issues
The community is nice, with lots of trees and sidewalks to jog/run. As a bonus, there are a lot of cute dogs. The clubhouse also serves 'breakfast' on school mornings, which can be useful if you're rushing out the apartment. The shuttle is also helpful, though the times this term suck.
For the cons - I didn't find the initial experience with the leasing office very pleasant. In addition, maintenance requests can take quite a while to be addressed. The entryway to the buildings don't get cleaned for weeks and are scattered with dead leaves from outside. I've complained about this but it doesn't appear to be a priority for them.

Great value!
Woodbury has a great price-quality value. Very spacious, with good amenities, and a lot of perks included that I initially didn't know (such as a shuttle to Ross, complementary breakfast, and other activities organized by the management office). The downside is that some apartments don't have enough light (small bedroom windows and there are no lights on the roof, you need to buy a couple of lamps to illuminate the space).

Well Maintained and Quiet Place to Live
I've had a great experience at Woodbury. They are extremely on top of maintenance and even send maintenance crews to take care of various things from time to time without prompting. The neighborhood is mostly grad students and young professionals/families from what I can tell. It's generally pretty quiet and pretty to walk around. My only "complaints" are that I wish my unit was bigger for the price I'm paying and that the walk to the UM Campus (~ 25 minutes) is long when the weather is bad (but great when the weather is nice).

Good Location. Great Amenities. Amazing Management
No complaints after living at Woodbury for a semester. Any maintenance issues are addressed promptly. Neighbors are lax and allow reasonably-sized gatherings. Shuttle to and from campus is a huge help. Free coffee every morning for residents. Free parking (car ports available too). The only complaint I have about the house is that the amount of ceiling lighting is minimal in living room, bedrooms, and dining area, so we needed to buy a lot of standing lamps. Other than that, great place.

Great Place to Live
Woodbury is a great neighborhood. The only negative is distance from Ross. The apartments are clean and well maintained. The staff is nice - best place to be a dog owner.

Convenient apartments but bad management
Value for money wise, a Woodbury apartment is pretty convenient, but it is definitely not Luxury Living as it likes to describe itself. The maintenance staff is very competent but leasing and management office will always take the easy way out and string you on when you bring up any issues. There’s a nice Ross community at Woodbury, but I’m not sure if I would decide to live here again.

Great apartment community and great value
Great size, quality of apartment. Great green space. Could be closer to school but the best part is that the public bus stop is literally across from us and there is a separate shuttle that runs regularly to Ross.

Yost Reviews
I haven't had to go to school in person yet (due to the pandemic) - but once things are back in person, I would use the community shuttle to get to campus and possibly back depending on the time of day I head back. Otherwise, I would take the bus or walk. Walking takes about 30 min but the bus will cut down most of that since there is a city stop right at the entrance to Woodbury.
