Great alternative to White Coat close to everything you need

My experience at Parc Pointe has been great so far. A hidden gem on North Campus. This is my second year living here. For not much more than White Coat, I have a big room, my own bathroom, a balcony, new appliances, in-unit washer/dryer, a covered parking spot, a lot where you can park anywhere uncovered, and a pool. Maintenance is pretty responsive as well as the landlords. Only negatives are there isn't built in microwave. There's a bus stop (the Ride) at the bottom of the complex to get to the hospital (7 min ride), Kroger, NCRB gym, gas, and food nearby. Lots of nature and quiet. Mostly graduate students living here.

Great apartment!

I have been living in the apartment for 3 years and I plan to renew the lease again! It's a comfortable apartment, plenty of space for a 1 bedroom and the management has been great and very responsive when I have needed anything. I think it's a very fair price for the quality of the apartment. It is located off Plymouth Rd. near North Campus and the neighborhood is very quiet and there are not many undergrads. The complex seems to be mostly grad students and young professionals. It's about a 10 minute drive to Central Campus and there is also a bus stop right outside. There are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. There is free covered parking, and I think having a car is helpful for the location. I would highly recommend this apartment overall!

Quiet, Spacious, Updated Appliances

I have lived at Parc Pointe for 3.5 years. It is a quiet spot to live directly across from north campus, mostly young professionals and graduate students. The management is friendly and easy to work with and I cannot say enough good things about the maintenance crew. They are super-quick to respond (lost my key/locked myself outside my apartment multiple times), and extremely hard working. During the winters, the parking lot and sidewalks are often cleared HOURS before a snow plow makes it up plymouth road. The complex is a 5 minute drive/10 minute bike ride from kroger, the north campus research complex, and 5 minute walk from a bus stop that will get you to the medical campus in 10 minutes and central campus in 15.

Excellent Apartment

The complex is very nice, there is ample parking, both covered and uncovered.

The landlord and property manager are both very nice. Maintenance requests are resolved within days, if not hours.

The city bus 23 and 65 both stop at the complex, giving you twice as many chances to catch a bus to Central Campus.

Easily within walking distance of North Campus.

If you want to be close to the hospital, then this is definitely the place for you! It is one of the more affordable areas that is within walking distance to the hospital and is close to many other medical students. There is a restaurant or two nearby, and the walk to Kerrytown (Farmer's market, small grocery store, etc.) is about 10-15 minutes. White coat is definitely a hike from the main downtown area.
It is quiet and removed from the downtown area, which can be a plus and a minus. I personally find it nice to be able to concentrate and study. It is also convenient to be living with many other med students in White Coat and be close to the medicals school building.
This apartment is about a 10 minute walk from the hospital/medical school, which is super convenient. There is a park nearby, which is great for running, walking dogs, and riding bikes. Also, it take about 15 minutes to get to Kerry town, the farmer’s market, etc.
North Campus is the place to be!! Lots of trails and nature for walking, NCRB gym nearby, grocery stores, gas, food, and more. Mostly graduate students up here so quieter but also within 10 min drive to downtown. There's always parking too.
Close access to running trails with a great neighborhood feel.
I enjoy being near the river and close to walking trails!
The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and well-maintained. There are tons of medical students around the white coat area, so it is easy to socialize and meet up with your peers. However, I wish there were more restaurant/cafe/store options nearby.
Very friendly, neighborly community. Very few undergraduate students are here, so the pace of life is generally more tame.
