The Mac-Groveland neighborhood is great! It is really close to lots of great places to eat and breweries. It is also very close to the Mississippi River with a nice walking/bike path. There is pretty good access to public transit, and lots of low-cost electric scooters in the warmer months. There can be some noise on the weekends being close to the college campus. Crime levels aren't super high, but there are occasional thefts. There have been some catalytic converter thefts off of parked cars.

Grand Place Apartments
Quiet but cozy, access to decent restaurants but not a lot of excitement. Mac-Grove is very residential with more houses than apartments.

I love living in this area! I am close to Davannis and Speedway and about a mile from lots of great local shops on Grand Ave. Only concern is that there have been a few car robberies in the area.
