Uptown District

The Arch City
Uptown District is home to one of the oldest statehouses in the country, the Greek-Revival Ohio Statehouse is one of the few locations that give the Uptown District its architectural flair. However, being in the city, single family housing options are limited. Here you will mostly find luxury high-rise condos, or apartments in landmark buildings. The streets are lined with brick-town houses that come with a one-car garage. Most housing options have a good walking distance to parks. On a sunny day, enjoy the beautiful scenery with a walk through Bicentennial Park along the banks of the Scioto River.
Columbus downtown High School is at the southeast corner of the neighborhood, zoned for the Columbus City School District.
