Florida Atlantic University is centrally located in the great town of Boca Raton. The architecture of Boca is known to be a beautiful and great attraction of Southern Florida. Designed by Addison Mizner all the way back in the 1920s, Boca Raton was always intended to be “Spain-inspired”. Boca Raton is also known for having no large advertisements that distract the eyes of those in town. The only exception is one billboard that was grandfathered in. Mizner Park is an absolute must-see for anyone living at Boca Raton. This center has plenty of eateries to visit such as the Boca Raton Museum of Art, and an amphitheater.

The restaurants and bars are plentiful in Boca Raton. Many of them are highly rated and fit the theme of Boca Raton perfectly. Restaurants that are worth the visit include Farmer's Table, The Capital Grille, Our Place, and Seasons 52. Bars that many college students like to hit up when looking to get together include The Duck Tavern, Whistle Stop, Lion & Eagle English Pub, and The Nak. Boca Raton is perfect for those attending Florida Atlantic University.
