Great Community with Plenty To Do
Bordering Trinity River and right below Downtown Dallas lies the neighborhood of South Dallas. South Dallas is a great place if you are looking for a neighborhood with plenty of things to do. Fishing in nearby White Rock Creek is a favorite pastime. At the center of South Dallas is the art-deco Fair Park. The majority of Fair Park was designed in the 1930s by architect Akin Dahl, using what was considered state-of-the-art construction materials at the time: concrete blocks. The complex is also home to sports facilities, and a Vietnam memorial anyone can visit. For people looking to spend a relaxing afternoon, the neighborhood also includes the Women’s Museum and the Children’s Aquarium.

Some highly rated restaurants in the area include Texas WingStop, Good Luck Hamburger, Pinkie Place Restaurant, and Good Luck BBQ and Burgers. Some bars nearby include Double Wide Bar, The Ginger Man, and SODA Bar. South Dallas is a great neighborhood if you are looking to be in a central location that is bustling with activity.
