Cagan Realty

I love my building and the people, but raising my rent price for the apartment I have is forcing me to move. It's so upsetting. I have had a wonderful experience living in Lakeview, and truly need to stay in this area due to convenience for work and school. However, I have found Cagan to be a difficult company, and the parking in this area is absolutely non-existent.

Terrible carpet, terrible kitchen, fire alarm went off 3 times and building was evacuated in a one month period. Barely functional A/C in living room and one of the bedrooms. High electricity bill. RCN and Comcast options for cable. Close to public transportation. Laundry on site.

I would say the units have their ups and downs. If you live in a renovated one, they are great. The actual property manager (not the engineer) is absolutely awful to work with and pretty rude. The onsite engineer is nice and listens to your concerns.

The management company has been great about maintenance, but not as great about billing. The online portal they use is cumbersome. The location of this building is perfect. The apartment is well worth the money compared to what I found elsewhere.
