It was a last resort.

They lied to me about the move-in date, which was the only reason I chose to live there in the first place. It's right on the train tracks, so you always hear the train, and it shakes the apartment. Management is condescending, rude, and will lie. Sometimes, they don't answer the phone or follow up when you email them. They do not follow up on complaints, either. People are always blasting music inside and outside the apartments and you can hear it through the walls. The walls are also paper thin, so I can hear my neighbors' conversations in their apartments. Also, there are a lot of people that smoke in the area so the smell gets into the apartment. Management and maintenance will enter the apartment without telling you and say they entered because it was "mandatory." They told me there wasn't a bug problem before I moved in, but I was constantly dealing with bugs and spraying my apartment during the warmer months. There is not a lot of parking, especially if you come home late from school. The chances of finding a space after 11 are low. It feels very unsafe. Also, the parking lot is surrounded by trees that drop sap onto the car, which can only be taken off if you get it detailed (at least $150). They said there is a pool, but it was closed even in the summer and even if it wasn't it was absolutely disgusting.
