Within 5 minutes of lecture halls and the med school library, allowing for quick naps, meals at home, changing clothes, etc. The cost is very low compared to other apartments, and there is no commute required. The UK Police Department is across the street.

I have loved my time at the Medical View properties so far. The area feels safe, and the noise levels are very low. I haven't had any problems with loud neighbors. The walk is super close to the College of Medicine, which is one of my favorite aspects. It is also very pet friendly. My only downsides are that the washer and dryer are not in unit and there is not a dishwasher. I'd also suggest getting a fan because the air conditioner doesn't reach the living room very well. Management is very communicative. When there was an issue with the laundry room, they provided us a free load each to make up for the inconvenience.

I like it because it is very close to UKCOM/hospital and getting to class was never a hassle. If you're a wildcats fan you can walk to the stadium or "hike" to Rupp Arena. The building is a bit more run down than I would have liked. There is no in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, or garbage disposal. Only one of the windows actually opened. Building maintenance was great and communication with management was excellent, they were always responsive but just underwhelmed with the place in general.

Literally across the street from the hospital. Dont have to buy a parking pass.

Very close to the hospital, guaranteed parking, and good price. However, the apartment is very outdated and needs renovating. I also can't recommend this apartment due to an ongoing cockroach infestation. Management has sprayed multiple times, but the issue has not gone away. They also have never checked in with me to make sure the problem was taken care of after I reported the issue. I have not felt comfortable living here due to this and will be looking elsewhere as soon as my lease is up.

The apartment I have is very tiny but easy to keep clean. It is not a fancy place by any means and I did some personal renovations/design hacks to bring the interior up to my liking. Renters should be aware:

Pros:
- Very conveniently close to campus/class.
- Monthly rent is pretty low
- Free parking
- Pets allowed

Cons:
- There is no ventilation in the bathroom or kitchen area.
- If you are on the bottom floor, you can hear your upstairs neighbor's footsteps louder than normal.
- You will hear the trains going by (it takes some getting used to but it's not bad)
- There is also the coin laundry few steps away but not in the building
- Maintenance is hit or miss, they are understaffed so patience is key.

I suggest calling UKMVP and requesting a virtual tour.

It does the job, but the location is unbeatable. It's pretty small and it's not updated or really fancy. Management is usually pretty responsive to issues.

The only pro is that maintenance responds quickly.

However, the bedroom carpet is very thin and falling apart. The kitchen has some broken cabinets and broken tiles. The bathroom is gross…paint stains everywhere. The worst part is the hard water…absolutely need to filter before you drink it and if you have sensitive hair or skin, be careful when showering. My bathtub was filled with trash and needles when I moved in. It was not cleaned at all when I moved in. Don’t recommend at all. Im trying to move out. Rent is increasing to $725…internet is $50 and utilities are about $40 per month.
