I've lived here all 5 years of grad school, and overall it's been in the category of "as good as you can expect for a budget apartment." The issues have been things like an old AC that's functional but not energy efficient and hard to keep at a constant temperature, and maintenance that's fine about emergency issues (e.g., plumbing) but doesn't fix long-term stuff (e.g. ,rust on the outdoor stairs). I originally moved here because I couldn't afford a car but didn't want to sign a lease with a stranger, so it's right in the sweet spot of far enough from campus to afford a 1BD, but on a bus route and walking distance from enough stores that it's not impossible to function without a car (as good as you can get in Nashville, basically). The main pros are the location, that the rent has been inexpensive, and that it's all 1 bedrooms so it's very quiet. When comparing this to other reviews, FYI that the management company changed recently, and the new people are much more organized and are doing more maintenance/repairs to the outside of the building (which will probably warrant higher rent).
