I have really enjoyed living at 3601 Market. The staff is extremely helpful and responsive to any issues. There is a concierge on staff 24hrs a day. The building has a gym, lounge, pool, and is located in a great area.
Great Location and Amenities
This is a luxury building with a ton of nice people. Theres a small gym, 3 season pool and a big lounge with study areas. The residents are mostly penn and drexel students.
I love living close to the law school (5 min distance). The amenities are great & because it's so close to the school, it's easy to meet other law Students. Utilities can be high sometimes and no utilities are included.
I can see Huntsman from my house
I had no idea that I would love living in University City so much. I moved to this modern glass high rise at 36th and Market after living in a similar (but much smaller) apartment in Rittenhouse Sq last year. We needed a bigger apartment and garage parking, and the prices on this side of the Schuylkill were about $2,000 per month less for 2 bedrooms + parking. That has worked out very well - there's plenty of parking in the building garage and it was included for no extra charge, plus they gave us an extra parking pass for guests. But there turned out to be so many more perks than I originally anticipated - and I really love living here. First of all, the building is great: floor to ceiling glass windows, everything is new (it was just built in 2015), and on the 6th floor there are all the amenities you expect to find in this type of building: nice gym and yoga studio, lounge with pool tables, outdoor deck with a fireplace and covered cabanas for hanging out, and an outdoor salt water swimming pool. It's also cool that the building holds free "resident appreciation" events throughout the year - we went to a holiday party with a complimentary catered dinner this past week, and to the elaborate haunted house in Eastern State Pen for Halloween. But ultimately what I appreciate the most, and most underestimated the benefits of before moving here, is the 7 min walk to class. I just run out the door at the last minute - it's 3 blocks away. I don't have to allow extra time for traffic, I arrive exactly when class starts and when I have those awkward breaks I just go home and walk back to Huntsman an hour or two later - as a result, I'm getting a lot more done each day than I did when I lived in Rittenhouse Square.
Love 3601 Market
Couldn't be happier with 3601 Market. It's roughly a 7 minute walk to the law school. Since it's on Market Street, I have a little bit of separation from the Penn Undergrads and I'm close to all of the new restaurants in the area. The building is really well managed and its brand new so the amenities are really great. It's definitely on the expensive end for University City, but the convenience makes it worth it.

Perfect amenities. Management team is extremely responsive and nice; they held a lot of events as well.
