Love it here
12/10. The apartment is gorgeous, the management is super friendly, the maintenance people are so nice and on top of it, & tons of natural light. It’s an old warehouse built in the 1890’s so there’s a ton of history here as well and they did a good job of incorporating the history.
Good, modern living but maintenance and mailing is bad
I chose this apartment because it was close to Duke Law and very modern. I enjoy living here but maintenance is slow and has bad communication, and you cannot receive mail here because the apartment never updated the proper locks needed for delivery. Other than that it is good.
Solid value, quiet, and close to business school!
Overall really solid experience so far. It's a brand new building so everything is clean and well kept and no issues with bugs. I also like that it's quiet and a smaller yet luxury apartment building. Occasional issues with fire alarm and management is not the most responsive on phone but nothing overly concerning. Beautiful amenities and covered & gated parking as well as a useful loading dock area for move ins.
Really like it
Overall, the apartment is great. It’s new, modern, and clean. There is a gym, yoga studio, pool, study room, and free coffee. It is a 4 minute drive/ 20 minute walk from Fuqua. My only complaint is the package system isn’t perfect, and you have to ensure your delivery’s come when the leasing office is open (but the claim they have a new system going in place so maybe it’ll sort itself out). You can pay a premium rate for a parking space in the building, or there is a lot nearby you can pay for less.
Great Building
The application process was challenging for me as an international student as their system is not fit for it.However the building itself is great, good amenities, spacious apartment, no noise, the appliances are brand new and modern. Also maintenance and management is very responsive and nice, management often hold events during the month with free food/drinks. The only cons is that there is no main entrance per say (you need to enter via the garage ), there is no system to know that you received a package, the gym is pretty small with not many machines and there is only one trash chute on the floor so if you live far from it, it’s a long walk.
Neat, Clean and Classy Apartments
I love my apartment. The best apartment the one could get in durham and nearby fuqua. It's recently built so completely new.
Solid apt, parking can be tight
Overall clean and great community. Parking can be tight in their on site garage and guest parking is virtually non-existent
Terrazzo Durham Review
New apartment with fun community events
So far so good!
Our experience has been good considering it is a newer apartment building - there are some kinks that still need to be worked out. We love that it is quiet, pet friendly, and modern. It is also an easy 15 min walk from the med school! The balcony is large and the pool area is perfect for a hot summer day. There have been some issues with the mail boxes - we've needed to physically go to the post office to get our mail due to the mailboxes not being in compliance with USPS. The fire alarms have also had issues with spontaneously alarming. All in all, the pros outweigh the cons, and we will likely continue to renew our lease.
Great
I love it here. There's plenty of amenities and The area is kept clean.
Allister
I am going into my second year at Allister and I’ve enjoyed my time here thus far. It’s well taken care of, in a safe location, and management isn’t a complete nightmare to deal with. I do live in the back part of the complex, which is quiet but the apt holds multiple pool parties throughout the summer.
Great New Building but Bad Management
Not the best management.
Love it
Such a clean, calm building with amazing staff that are very helpful! I love my unit and it’s really nice to be the first tenant. I’ve had no problems so far. They plan fun activities every other week for residents and give us food, and the amenities are really nice like the gym and the study rooms. Not a far walk from TSCHE at all.
The Reverie is Amazing
I lived at a different complex my first year. Summer of 2L I moved in to the Reverie and I am so happy that I did. The complex is full of students and young professionals. It is nice to have friends outside of school.
love it here
Management is great. Neighbors are nice. Parking lot well lit. Great outdoor spaces to study.
