Amazing West Village Location

This apartment is precisely what you want from the West Village-a quiet neighborhood feel in the middle of all the excitement of Manhattan, with great subway access too. The building itself has typical pre-war charm: high ceilings, creaky wood floors, uneven walls, and few of the modern appointments, and that is not meant negatively. The building organized into a coop with adjacent apartments in the '70s, which enabled the consolidation of a courtyard oasis tucked between them. There is a bright and spacious laundry room, and the super receives packages for tenants. The apartment itself is small, but laid out perfectly.

Amazing neighborhood, very quiet, very close to campus and quick to get from here to any other part of town. A few minutes from the waterfront with a great park and options for many different sports.
Ive lived here for 3 years, no complaints at all. It's young and fun.
This area is great for someone new to the city. You're close to several train lines and right down the street from both NYU and Chelsea. You are surrounded by some of the city's best bars and comedy clubs. Not to mention, you're two blocks over from the Hudson if you want to go to a bar on a boat or run on the West Highway. If you're looking for the perfect blend of city and neighborhood, the West Village is ideal. You aren't surrounded by skyscrapers but have the perfect view of several.
The West Village is a 15 minute walk from Stern's campus. Tons of restaurants, bars, and great shopping. It's more mature (few undergraduates) than central Greenwich Village or the East Village. Beautiful running and bike paths along the West Side highway park are easily accessible and have incredible city views.
Perfect neighborhood - close to transit but also great restaurants and bars.
It's the west village, right by stonewall. Great nightlife, always something to do.
Love the neighborhood for all the restaurants and accessibility. This block for some reason has a lot of noise and crazy people otherwise would be a 10.
Feels very safe, lots of bars and restaurants, close to NYU
