Comfortable and Great Location

My apartment experience has been a relatively good one since I moved in. The apartment is a little farther away than I (or most students) would want to be, but I feel that the 15-minute drive to school is not that big of a deal. The location just received a "facelift" and is completely gated. It is right across the street from the Westshore Plaza and has a bunch of great restaurants. The location is great because I can still get to downtown Tampa or St. Petersburg in 20 minutes. The apartments are very spacious and very insulated from neighbors, making the apartment great for roommates.

Overall, the area is very nice. The large 3-story Westshore Plaza mall, multiple restaurants, and the airport are nice to have nearby for convenience. I rarely if ever notice the plane noise from the airport. There is barely any traffic and the Publix and Wholefoods are within an 8-minute drive. The only complaint I have is that there are still a few areas in the neighborhood that are still a little sketchy. Those areas are out of the way through and are improving dramatically, so I do not see this as an issue in the future.

This apartment is right next to target, Home Depot, and Walmart. It's about 10-15 minutes from UT. The only issue is the traffic at the school but up until you get one campus property I've never hit any traffic.
