I’ve had a great experience with my building. Management responds to any issues promptly. The laundry room is well maintained and I feel safe having a doorman. Plus, it’s walking distance from campus which makes it very convenient.

An older building with local management, but close to school, kind staff, and safe location. Could possibly get an apartment in a nicer building for similar or less rent.

Located right near Columbus Circle, the building is very close to the A/C/B/D/1 Train as well as the Time Warner Center (Whole Foods for shopping as well other retailers). A few blocks away from Central Park and the Hudson for those who want to take a stroll or run. Apartment building is well maintained with great accommodating staff. The apartments are not as modern as some high rises but great value for the money.

The staff is extremely helpful and are almost always quick to fix problems. The walls are not thin, so the only noise is from the street. The apartment is very spacious for a studio (probably the largest I saw for the price when I was looking). I have a dishwasher. The floors are wood and I have a lot of closet space. I also like having a doorman 24/7 (especially for packages).

We've had a mouse once or twice, but it went away. Laundry is in the building but it can get expensive.

South Park is an awesome building and has been my home for 5+ years and my only permanent home in NYC. The hall floors and walls need updates badly but the apartments are great value for the space and the neighborhood is literally unbeatable. An avenue and a half to central park/columbus circle, and a few avenues to the water/riverside park south. Lots of subways and buses. they should definitely renovate the roof though. that would be amazing.
