Small space, but very nice apt
The apt is technically a 2BR, but the living room was converted to make it a 3BR. A small apt in an older building, but the apt itself looks very new and was very clean when we arrived. Modern kitchen (with a mini dishwasher), gas stove. Decently sized bathroom. No laundry in building, wash and fold 2 blocks away (nearest do-it-yourself laundry is fairly far away). A corner apartment, so lots of light along two of the sides (windows in all bedrooms, a window in the kitchen and a window in the small "living room" area). Elevator from 1-5th floors. No doorman, but spacious entryway/"lobby."
It can get a little cozy with 3 people, but there is a decent amount of closet/overhead storage space. Located next to the police academy, so feels pretty safe. Close to restaurants (right above a pizza place), drug stores, wash&fold, banks, and the 6 and N R lines (also a short walk from Union Square, which has more subways). A pretty quiet neighborhood, and right by Gramercy Park! About 1mile walk from NYU.
