Great place to live
Point West was fairly easy to get into, they have a much more streamlined application process than other apartment complexes in the area. They offer free pest control, which was a big plus for us. Rent does not cover utilities, which is a downside, but GRU's rates are reasonable. The complex is right next to 34th St., which can be noisy at times but hasn't been too much of a problem. It is generally quiet and feels rather secure.

Close to the law school and worth the price
Prime benefit is location - you are very close to the law school. It takes about 5 minutes to drive there. It's a quiet neighborhood too. The storage space isn't the best I've had in Gainesville, but it's sufficient! The management team is very easy to work with and maintenance is very responsive. Overall, it's a great value for the price.

Good value. No Frills
Point West is cheaper than a lot of places. It's a mile from the law school. It's unfurnished and not fancy. The dumpsters and laundry room can be a ways from your apartment depending on where your room is in the complex.
