Parks, green space, kids

It's a complex filled with couples and families. There are lots of parks within the complex but there are also a lot of loud kids. The wifi is from the university so it's sketchy at times.

Great Inexpensive Housing for Graduate Students and Families

CSCC is a cooperative housing situation. The University of Minnesota owns the land and buildings, while CSCC manages them for the benefit of graduate students and their families. As a cooperative, there is no profit motive and the rental units are managed with an eye towards keeping prices low for students. Priority is given to graduate students who are married and have children, but unmarried graduate students can also apply. The property is well maintained, the apartments are well cared for, no-frills, but very affordable.

CSCC for Graduate Students

You have some co-op cleaning/shoveling duties for 1 week per month. Very affordable. Quiet environment. No pets unfortunately unless they are service animals of some type (emotional or otherwise) registered with the disability resource center at UMN. There's a small gym on site now!
