Very Good Choice on Upper West Side

This is a 5-story walk-up building and I am on the second floor. It is a very quiet neighborhood but one block from Broadway and the 1 train. The super is amazing and on top of everything. The apartment surprisingly has a lot of natural light and the rooms are large (normal size for non-NYC standards). The only downside is the lack of closets.
