Decent, cheap living
I personally really love my apartment. I’ve made it my own little home that I’m really proud of and that works for me. However, the complex is in a rougher part of town where there is a lot of police activity. It is not as dangerous as other places that I’ve lived in personally but it could be a shock for someone who is not used to it. For the most part, though, the people that live in the complex are generally friendly and keep to themselves. The complex recently installed a key fob controlled gate for safety and overnight security, which has helped in my feeling safe. There are two pools and a playground, on-site laundry and some community events. For the most part, though, the amenities are not that great. The rent is cheap for a reason, but I am happy with my place and it’s affordability.

Decent complex
My apartment complex is not too far from campus, about 10 minutes, and is in an okay neighborhood. I love my unit itself but my neighbors can make it hard to sleep sometimes and constant weed smoking bleeds into my unit at times. But other than that there have been no major issues.
