Good location, management company meh

The Saulet has been a great and very convenient place to live for med school. The pricing is fair and comparable to my monthly rent to live in a house uptown with roommates. The complex is clean, gated, and we've never had any pest issues. The pool is really nice and every unit has a washer and dryer. Unfortunately, the repairs are very slow to process, and the management company can be at times very hard to work with (particularly with establishing a lease and moving in). Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment to other medical students.

Safe but Needs Better Communication

The Saulet is overall a safe and comfortable apartment option — the grounds are well-maintained, and I’ve always felt secure living here. However, there’s a definite lack of communication between the front office and residents. Updates or responses can take a while, and it often feels like important information doesn’t get shared clearly. If the management improved communication, this would easily be a five-star place.

The Saulet

Lowest rent around for a centrally located complex. There is a lot to do within walking distance, and I feel safe walking around here. There is no elevator. There are two pools, and a gym. I would recommend The Saulet for someone looking to live in a complex, but a house may be cheaper. I do love this area of town.

Good location

I love the location and it’s perfect for a quieter neighborhood where you can walk to coffee shops. The leasing department can be a little bit hard to communicate with when signing, but since living here I haven’t had any problems.

Saulet Review

Cheaper option. Apartment itself is good, but the hallways are all external so it can kind of feel like a dorm. Maintenance has been responsive.

Great property. Amazing staff.

The company I work for is on a job in New Orleans and we provide housing for some of our employees. At the beginning of the summer i was tasked with searching for properties to rent for our employees being sent to LA for this job. I am not from LA nor am I familiar with the area. I went into this request feeling very negative and worried about being able to pull this off. From the first contact I had with Leah at the leasing office she has made everything so easy. Leah has gone above and beyond for myself and my team. Leah has shown us so much grace. She's been beyond helpful and nothing slight of a literal angel. I truly can say The Saulet is lucky and blessed to have such an amazing dedicated employee. Great location. All of my team has enjoyed their stay at this property. They love the neighborhood and everything in close proximity.
