I love this apartment. It is right across the street from the law school, centrally located in town, and the rent is extremely reasonable. In addition, the unit is updated and has all of the accommodations I need. Laundry and parking are both on-site, and it is located close to the bus route.

I wanted to find an apartment near the Law School just in case I needed to walk to class. Belcross Properties has a lot of properties to choose from, while that is good, they are the typical "corporate" landlords. They do not know you personally and rarely respond to emails that you send them. Belcross was very accommodating with my move-in date, however, when I first moved in, the apartment was completely dirty. A thick greasy film was on the top of everything. I also believed there was a cat in the apartment from the previous tenant and I was having an allergic reaction since the apartment had not been cleaned. No response from the office either from my several attempts to reach out. The walls are also paper thin. I can hear every movement that my upstairs neighbor makes, but fortunately the property itself is very quiet and can study at home. Lastly, the apartment is good as it is the very few one bedroom apartments that also have a washer/dryer at a cheap price. Overall, the apartment isn't bad.

My experience has been wonderful. Prete is a great company to rent from. They are big enough to not get petty with paying for property maintenance. They are usually on the ball with my requests. The rent is super reasonable as well. My apartment is huge, and I only pay $560 a month. I can also walk to the law school, so I haven't had to pay for parking for 3 years. Highly, highly recommend them. Law school is a nightmare on its own, and having good landlords means you will have one less thing to worry about. Also, they rarely get sued by their tenants, so that should tell you something right there.
