nice if you don't have kids
The property itself is nice, but the neighborhood as a whole has become less welcoming to families over the years. The lease requires all children under 12 to be supervised at all times, which is unrealistic and unfortunately enforced (sometime selectively). Without a personal yard to play in, kids are either stuck inside or you have to hover outside with them 24/7, which is obviously not possible if you need to study.
Also, be forewarned that there is major construction on the only road leading to the complex and will be for the next few years. Getting in and out is also difficult in the ice.

Great neighborhood for families
We love living at Graycliff. The neighborhood has a lot of families and is very diverse. The pool is fantastic. I was worried about volume in a townhome, but we never hear our neighbors.

Great
This apartment complex is a quick 10 minute drive from the law school. It’s right off Van Voorhis (a main road) so it’s usually plowed well in the winter. Management has been great and fulfills maintenance requests within 24 hours. There’s a great center with a gym and study space. Pet friendly. Downside is that it would be expensive without a roommate and they tend to raise rent every year.

Great Experience
I’ve had a great experience living at Graycliff. Definitely recommend splitting rent with someone, but that is easy to do because each bedroom has a private bathroom so you can still easily have a roommate and have your own space. There is a pool and a gym included on the property and it’s only a 10 minute drive from the law school. Not many undergrads live here so it is usually very quiet - even on weekends - for studying. Also pet friendly! Only con is that they’ve raised the rent slightly since last year and utilities are not included but are pretty affordable when you split costs with someone.
