Not much to offer, but just what I need
Very simple building, unit and location... nothing special. No amenities, but that is okay (after all, how often am I actually going to use a pool). Laundry is in the building, but can get expensive ($2 per wash, $2 per dry). For what this building offers, it is expensive for sure, but that just parallels the costs in Grand Rapids. Great management and maintenance... have never waited more than 2 days for a maintenance issue. While security is not on site, they are still reachable by phone 24/7 and always willing to come out and help.

Not much to offer, but just what I need
Honestly, Highland Place Apartments is a small little building in the Heritage Hill neighborhood. There really is not much to it, but that's okay. I wasn't looking for a high rise building or a brand new place. I really can't complain. Do I wish there more amenities? Absolutely, but who doesn't?

Great place to live!
The complex and surrounding is very quiet, yet walking distance to downtown. It gives you a good mix of that urban/suburban feel. The only downside is that there is no gym within the complex.
