The management company does have very poor attitude when they are handling maintenance request and problems concerning the apartment complex. The office staff and managers do not respond timely and reasonably. They always delay their response, claim that they are very busy and do not handle urgent situation, such as illegal activities and pest control. If you decide to live there, you would not expect a fair judgement from them if any dispute occurs because they do not treat international students fairly in general and always try to escape from solving problems. There were some crimes going on in the apartment complex that the manager would cover them and the safety in the complex is pretty low. They organized parties in the pool with a lot of people abusing substances, taking drugs and smoking weed; while the staff pass by and do nothing about it. Last time, it literally had hundreds of people in/around the swimming pool and super loud music with live DJ. The whole experience is terrible!

Every time you want to fix something, you get delayed for weeks and weeks, if they remember you at all. The apartments are very bad quality and have a lot of issues. The community there is very bad, you can smell the weed once you get out of the door. The roommate preference there is terrible. Dont live here at all, its the worst place in Baton Rouge

The staff are very nice and so is the price. It’s close enough to campus that I don’t have to worry about being late to class due to immense traffic. However, I would not recommend living here. My bathroom ceiling started leaking through my overhead light that is also connected to my vent in July and maintenance came in and tried to fix it by cutting a hole in my closet to get access to the pipes. The leaking stopped but there was still a hole in my closet wall for four months as they never came back and closed it not changed the light fixture or electrical wiring. The ceiling then started leaking again from a different area and they opened another part of my ceiling. It is now February and the leaking has finally stopped but I still don’t have a light fixture or a vent for my bathroom and mold began growing. They came in and treated it but still haven’t fixed the vent or overhead light fixture. I have talked to management multiple times and they have tried to blame me for not talking to them enough about it (I have put in multiple work orders and talked to maintenance multiple times). I’ve been told they don’t have enough maintenance workers employed to finish all of the work orders they are receiving.

The office staff are very friendly and work hard to help you with anything you need. They have a lot of fun activities you can participate in throughout each month, including ones that aim towards students. It's also located right next to the bus stop in case you don't have a car.

Don't sign up for individual leases exepecting a good room mate matching service. The place is great if you will rent the entire unit.

Bad management

Overall the apartment is pretty nice for only $470. It has wood floors, included furniture, recently upgraded Internet services, basketball, tennis, volleyball, gym, computer lab, and a pool. The property is fairly well maintained, the outside of the buildings are powerwashed pretty often. Only gripe is that many residents don't pick up after their pets and litter on the property. Also the kitchen is quite small especially if sharing between 3 people. Maintenance is pretty responsive, they replaced my entire sink after it started leaking.

They recently got rid of the included cable in favor of upgraded Internet, which has been a great trade for me. Also, HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend getting a memory foam mattress pad as the included mattresses are *awful*
