Summer Grove Condominiums

Summer Grove is a great complex! Each unit is a townhome, so it's like having your own house. It is close enough to campus to be a convenient drive, but far enough away that you can avoid school traffic if you want to. There is a gate at each entrance. There's designated parking in front of each unit and all of the parking areas are well lit. All the units also have a small fenced in backyard area. Management is really helpful and is quick to respond.

I have not been disappointed in my time living here. The only reason I am leaving is because I am moving to another state after I graduate!

Complex is very close to campus. Usually a 5-10 minute drive. Students and young professionals live here. Lots of pet owners. Gym, pool, and pet park are clean and never crowded. Close to lots of restaurants and Rouses. All units have backyards or patios. Gated neighborhood. Only downsides are that the walls are somewhat thin—only a problem if you have loud neighbors—and the clubhouse staff is not super helpful. Otherwise a perfectly clean and safe place for students living with roommates or for couples. You can rent through Summer Grove directly but the rates are more expensive than going through a private property management company.

I have lived at Summer Grove for four years and have had a great experience. The complex is gated and management is very responsive to any issues. The walls can be somewhat thin, but I think that is more due to having loud neighbors. However, the management has been very on top of things and I've only had two noise issues in 4 years that were handled very quickly. The complex is very pet friendly and their is a small gated pet park and is close to the levee for walks. The complex also has a gym, pool, and print center for student convenience. I also really like that each townhome has reserved parking spaces right outside which is very convenient.

I’ve lived in BR for going on 7 years and this is by far my favorite place I’ve lived. It’s mostly grad students and young professionals, so it’s fairly quiet. Management is also quick with repairs and other issues. Highly recommend.
