One of the best deals near campus!

I have lived at Tairrie House for 4 years, and prior to this, I lived at other buildings within Dinnaken Properties for another 2 years. There is a reason why I've stayed so long - the location is right off campus (within 10 min walking distance of Moos Tower), close to transit, close to Stadium Village restaurants, nice walking trails for exercise nearby, indoor underground heated parking, free laundry/dryer, responsive and kind management and great maintenance, ability to get street parking/visitor parking passes because you live in one of Minneapolis's critical parking zones, etc. The list goes on and on. I would say the only cons, if any, are that the apartments are older and not as "nice" or "new," but honestly, grad students should not be expecting to live in a luxury apartment anyway on their budget. The living spaces are just fine. In addition, there's no community room within the building to gather, and no pets. However, all in all, this is one of THE BEST places to live near the U of MN campus, and many of my fellow grad/professional students live here. Some MD residents even lived here for awhile. There is a reason why there is often a wait list for this building!
