Decent price, meh location, fairly good management

Biggest complaint is that it's 2mi from downtown so not a fun walk and the only bus comes once per hour, and only runs as late as 9pm, so travel to campus is kind of difficult. The apartment itself has been renovated relatively recently. The appliances are still kind of older, but not terrible. The heat and a/c are good. Internet is really fast and provided with rent. Wooden floor looks/feels a little cheap and doesn't line up perfectly with the walls. The doorframe for the back door isn't quite right and the door is pretty stuck. But maintenance responds fairly well. It may take a week or so for them to come to a non-emergency, but the maintenance people are kind. Mostly, the property management kinda stays out of things, in a good way.

Affordable and exactly what I expected

The apartments are garden style and it's an older complex. I am living in a unit that has been redone with new appliances (the cheapest kind but they are new). The carpet is also new, the fixtures in the bathroom are a little old other than the shower head. There is plenty of space since the apartment is older with a lot of storage. Another plus is that the washer and dryer are full size and there's a walk in closet. The con is you really need a car to live here since it's far west, right off I-69. If you can provide your own transport though I highly recommend as an affordable option for pet owners. d

Millennium Apartments- Pretty Dang Good So Far

I move in one month, my current place is being demolished. Hunter Properties have been really easy to work with and each visit to Millennium has been good, the people there are really kind. Bad location in my opinion, but there are worse. The property itself is nice, has a pretty big on-site fitness center/gym, in-unit washer and drier, and is pet friendly.

Do Not Live Here. I repeat, Do Not Live Here

Only lived here for a year, and it was by far the worst thing I have experienced. When we first moved in, our apartment reeked, was unclean, and had mold visible throughout many portions of the apt. Also, my stepdad (a commercial contractor) pointed out several areas where water had seeped in in the past, sat, and ruined carpet/drywall/etc. The day we moved in, my fiance and I were only planning on moving small items, and move in everything else (big items) a week later. We told maintance about these things to hopefully have them fixed in the week we were going to be gone, but when we returned a week later, none of it was fixed.

The day we moved in, police were looking for a man that traveled over state lines to try and kill his ex-girlfriend- not safe place.

Obviously they were not going to do anything, so we stopped trying. About a week into our lease, I wake up with water that had pooled under the carpet in the bedroom, partially ruining my nightstand. We called maintance, and they did come over quickly. All they did was rip up the carpet, dry it out, and move on. The supervisor said it was due to mulch that was obstructing water from leaving the area right outside the window- but that did not fix the underlying problem of having water seep in.

A week later, water started seeping, not from outside, but from upstairs from another unit, and in a different place then before. Maintance ripped up the carpet, said "yep its wet" and said to just let it out. When they ripped it up, it damaged the carpet, and HBP tried to make me pay for it at the end of my lease even though I had proof that it was from water damage.

There was mold growing in all parts of the apt that maintance never cared to fix when putting in a request for. Maintance would ride around on mini-motorocycles (made for kids) around the complex and yell at each other throughout the day.

One day the rent payment service went down the day that rent was last due. They sent an email out stating rent still must be paid on time through a cashiers check. This was about 3pm or so. This did not affect me, but what happens if someone didnt get off work in time to get a cashiers check and they were relying on the payment service to pay rent? It is HBP fault that there site went down, but not being flexible about rent payment- poor management.

Overall, if you like mold in your maintenance, enjoy dealing with immature maintenance men, and a company that wants to scam you out of money, then live at Millenium. But I do not recommend it to anyone, especially my worst enemy.
