Cheap in all sense of the word

If you want a place to live that has 4 walls and is workable with non-nosey neighbors, this is a good spot. We do have an issue with people living in our parking garage, but people do not mess with the cars and it is covered. People also do not timely deal with their laundry, and it is such an issue we get weekly emails about it and have decided to go to a laundromat instead. Thin walls, and you'll likely need to put in a maintenance request early on move-in. These negatives said, it's actually very close to campus (<20 minute walk to the law school) and you are left to your own devices so long as you timely pay rent. Summer rent is cheaper (about 500 a month). I've lived here all 3 years of law school and don't hate it, but it is certainly because it was affordable in 2020 and remains cheap.

Great price, difficult neighbors

Hard to beat the rent. However, you will miss out on pretty decent amenities not bumping up in price. Neighbors can be loud and obnoxious (like not collecting their laundry from the shared laundry room for days!!) and you will pay extra for parking. The property managers themselves are pretty good. We are left to our devices, but definitely get a 2 bedroom so you can have an office space for studying.
