New Orleans East Apartment

The complex was built in the 1980s. The one bedroom apartments do not have a washer/dryer in the unit despite there being ample space for one. Management has changed hands a couple times since being there. They are pretty good at responding to repairs and such. They are still repairing damage to the roofs, siding, and grounds from Hurricane Ida. The apartments look much better on the inside than from what you would expect from the outside. It is about a 10 mile commute from this apartment complex to the downtown campus which in the thick of rush hour can take up to 30 minutes. There are a few grocery stores relatively close (Wal-mart, Rouse's, and Winn-Dixie). However, dining or other types of shopping stores are very limited in New Orleans East.
