Good place
Been here for M1 and M2, we renewed the lease to be here next year as well. I knew my roommate before living here, and have enjoyed the property so far. I like the building I'm in as it is slightly separated from the main complex of units, and parking has never been an issue. It is animal friendly which costs extra (obviously), but overall is a good place to live if you're a student.

Budget Friendly
Spent two years living at Anderson Communities and they weren't the most responsive in terms of maintenance/sanitation issues. There was often construction going on, and my roommate and I were actually *asked* to switch units in the middle of the school year so that our previous unit could be updated. The apartments have a small gym and small pool, which is a nice perk. Very good location for school (~20 minute walk to the hospital), and budget friendly overall, but be prepared for some maintenance issues or mice. No cameras on the property, and there were multiple cars broken into right outside the apartment.

Good apartment close to medical school campus
The apartment complex is about a 10-minute walk outside to the Healthy Kentucky Research building, then a 10-minute walk inside to the medical school campus. The apartments are relatively affordable and your rent includes a access to the clubhouse gym and pool, as well as parking. The area is safe. There are undergraduate students who live in the complex as well, so it can get loud at times, but never a huge problem. In addition, the complex itself is beside the train tracks, so it can be slightly loud at first, but you get used to it, or you can request a unit further away from the train tracks. The only big negative would be the lack of responsiveness from management, which takes about a few days to weeks to respond to your maintenance requests. The complex does a good job with promoting social events, such as porch decoration competitions during the holiday season, as well as movie nights outside in the courtyard during the summer.

Comfortable, within walking distance
Great location for walking/biking to campus especially when entering through the research buildings. Decent price with nice amenities (water and electric not included) like pool and small gym. It is fairly undergrad heavy which in some weekend nights can be noisy. Near railroad but never hear it. Pet friendly. Maintenance is the biggest downside because they are often slow to respond to work requests. Also close to several restaurants, too. Overall nice place for a couple or two roommates to live close to UK
