Colosseum Townhouses

This is a very spacious townhome for two people. The closets and rooms are large. Kitchen has a lot of storage and counter space. There is a garage that can fit one car but free parking out front. The place does have stairs between the first and second floor. The landlords are mostly responsive to issues but there is usually a delay in shoveling of the parking lot. The place does get a lot of bugs in the fall and summer which requires spraying on the inside to keep out. This apartment has a wooded lot behind it so that contributes to the bugs. The apartment also does run cold in the winter time requiring windows to be sealed and a space heater to be used in one of the upstairs rooms if you spend a lot of time in there. The walls are pretty thick and there is usually no noise issues between roommates or neighbors.

Landlord is very responsive. The Colosseum is very spacious and a good location between the 3 hospitals we rotate at.

We love living at our apartment! Very spacious and the landlord is very responsive and super helpful. We do have to pay for all utilities, but I enjoy our neighborhood.

This townhouse is well-kept, moderately updated, and walls are thick enough to never hear the neighbors. One car garage with ample free parking in lot outside of complex. Both bedrooms are large and have a walk-in closet and full bath. Second floor = bedrooms and laundry. Close proximity to State St businesses, forest preserve with walking path, and interstate. Little street traffic. Some noise from Perryville Rd as well as nearby businesses depending on which complex you live in. Landlords for my complex are the Holtans. Very kind and respond quickly to maintenance concerns. Other med students live in surrounding complexes and Terra Creek (popular for med students) is just a few minute drive. Sliding glass door to small backyard with concrete slab patio. No recycling. No pets allowed. Had exterminator come to spray for spiders and other bugs that kept getting in. Bedroom above the garage is generally cooler, upstairs warmer than main floor.
