Overall great option
I've loved living in my apartment with Burnham Rentals. The apartment building is so close to Maurer, so my walk to school is only ~5 minutes. I'm also super close to Kirkwood (many food/shopping options) and IU's campus. The management at Burnham are all very kind and responsive. My apartment doesn't have the newest appliances, but that's not something that bothered me considering all the natural light and open floor space. I found that many other Maurer students lived in the building too.

Excellent
The owners of the building are on site during business hours. They are excellent and very nice. 3 minute walk to the law school. Expensive but couldn’t recommend it enough.

I Love Burnham
Living at Burnham is the best. It's a 2-minute walk to the law school. The management is highly personable, and they always address any rare issues you may have really quickly. The only downside is that you sometimes hear undergrads walking by late at night. Overall, though, I love living there.

Great Experience with Burnham Rentals
I have enjoyed renting with Burnham Rentals at their 404 S Fess Ave property and highly recommend. The location is about a 3-5 minute walk from the Maurer school of law and about 8-10 minutes from the downtown. I highly recommend living close to the law school. Everyone that I have encountered from Burnham Rentals have been super kind and helpful. The office responsive quickly and promptly fixes any issues or requests. Burnham Rentals genuinely wants to make sure that you have the best living experience possible.

Great location, amazing staff!
I chose to live at Burnham because location was my most important factor. I can get from my apartment to my classroom in the law school in under 5 minutes. The management and maintenance staff are simply the best and very responsive to all requests and concerns. I can definitely hear my neighbors through the walls/ceilings but the lease has clear quiet hours that management takes seriously if it becomes an issue. They are likewise very good about setting expectations with prospective residents that this is not a “party” residence. There is some ambient noise from the street, but overall, it’s quiet place to live compared to alternatives. All parking is covered (though not included in rent). My only hesitation in signing was that unit access is in open air (i.e. do not need a key or fob to enter the building but I have never felt unsafe in the building.

Great place to live!
I have lived at Burnham all three years of law school. The management is very friendly and attentive to maintenance concerns. The building is super close to the law school, so I can go home throughout the day. Although it’s a little pricey, I don’t think you can get much closer for any cheaper. Overalll, I’ve been happy with my decision to live in throughout law school.

Great place for law students!
Burnham is a great place to live! The management is responsive and friendly. I haven't had many maintenance issues, but when I did, the issue would be resolved the same day (or the next Monday if it occurred on the weekend). The apartment complex is close to the law school and within walking distance. They also have quiet hours and like graduate student renters, so it tends to be quieter.

Best landlords in town
This apartment is on the pricier side but is worth it, especially for a first year law student. The first year of law school is the most important for future lawyers, and having a reliable housing situation is vital for first year success. The 3rd and Dunn apartments are a 4 minute walk from the law school, and the apartment itself is very high quality. Maintenance crew make sure everything is in working condition very quickly. Having laundry machines in the apartment is especially helpful. The best part of the apartment is the landlords. They are very attentive and kindhearted. I had a correct start date for orientation, so almost signed a lease starting 5 days after I needed to be in town, but during negotiations, my landlords notified me of the correct start date for law school orientation and made significant, successful efforts to make my apartment ready on the day I needed. They have guided me through the process as a first time apartment owner and helped me with rowdy neighbors. I highly recommend renting from Burnham Rentals.
