Due Diligence
Finding an apartment that was large enough for my family and affordable was very difficult. Our apartment has the space we need but it is on the older side and thus very hard to keep warm in the winter and cool in the summer due to poor insulation and old windows. Utilities are expensive and the management company is responsive for small easy repairs or leaks, but hasn't really helped with the larger issue in our unit. I would recommend doing as much due diligence as possible when looking for an apartment especially if the unit you are viewing is older be sure to ask about heating and cooling.
