Belmont on Broad

I adore my apartment here. I wish it wasn't so pricey but splitting with a roommate makes it manageable, especially because it's a new build and has very few problems. The neighbors are quiet and the amenities are great. The only downsides are that sometimes you have to park far from your building and depending on your location the walk to the dumpster can be a bit of a drag.

Nice place, staff is nice, buildings mostly clean and well maintained. No/poor enforcement of picking up after dogs so Lots of people don’t do it and there’s a bunch of dog poop in the grass everywhere, especially in the dog park (decent size dog park tho. There are bag/waste stands all over so the place could be really nice if they enforced better

Pros:
- Maintenance responds to maintenance requests by the next-day.
- The apartment complex is very quiet.
- Apartments have back-up generators; power never goes out.
- Entry to the complex parking lot is monitored via gate.
- Gym, pool, theater, and game room in apartment.
- overall, feels like a safe place to live alone.

Cons:
- Raise rent prices every year (in other words, it's expensive)
- Parking is limited; sometimes residents park 10 minutes away from complex.

Location:
- Walkable, close to multiple grocery and department stores.

Management is responsive and friendly.

Newly built and so the property is nice and clean. All of the appliances are great and you can't beat the location. The property has a nice gym and other amenities like a theater room, game room, pool, and study space. My only complaints are that parking is kinda limited if you haven't paid for a designated spot and that taking trash out can be a bit of a trek! Otherwise, I love it here and plan to stay!

The apartments are absolutely beautiful and are very spacious. My roommate and I each have walk-in closets. One of us has a bathtub and the other has a glass shower. The apartment has a movie room, game room, study rooms, conference room, gym and a salt water pool. The only downsides are that parking can be difficult after 6:30pm on weekdays (and sometimes on the weekends) and you may have to park in the alley which can be far from the building. However, the alley is gated and there is no issue of safety. The whole parking lot, including the alley, is very well lit. In addition, there is no trash dispenser in the building but there is a trash “building” at the end of the parking lot. The apartment was built in March 2022 so things are still fairly new and they are working through the quirks of things. Overall the building is super nice, modern, quiet and definitely worth the money.
