Pricey, but pretty much worth it
My unit itself is very nice - sunny and super spacious. Lots of storage and a massive closet. Gated parking close by and I've never had a problem getting a spot. I've had a few minor problems, primarily with maintenance. My AC has broken three times and each time I've been assured it was fixed. The gym does leave a little to be desired, but it's manageable and better than paying for a membership. I also was assured that the unit would be cleaned in between the previous resident and myself, and it was, but it left a LOT to be desired. I spent 2 days after moving in trying to get it to a manageable standard of clean. Lastly, the common areas and the stairwells flood every time it rains. Management does their best with it and sets out fans to help it dry, but it's concerning that it happens so often.

Brookland Review
Overall, Brookland has exceeded my expectations. It is a great apartment complex that offers modern amenities, a phenomenal location, and a bit of maturity that other buildings closer to campus do not possess. The management is kind, the prices are reasonable for the quality (for 2-bedroom units), and the leasing company takes care of many of the mundane tasks you would have to do yourself in a private home.

Brookland Property
Brookland is a great property in a great location. It has a pool, gym, and is located right on the West Columbia Riverwalk next to a few shops and local restaurants. There is also plenty of parking, including a few parking garages.

So worth the price
I moved to this apartment a year ago, and the increased price is a million times worth it. I have always felt very secure and safe even walking back and forth at odd times due to shift work. The management is always extremely responsive to issues and understanding. Amenities are well maintained. Apartments itself are new and have few issues. Only complaint is some issues with package deliveries but that has been improving. Gym is small but gets the job done.

Great Apartment
I've lived at Brookland for the past 2 1/2 years and have loved it. The apartments are very nice and taken care of. The location is great. If I ever have any concerns or issues, management and maintenance are very quick and helpful. My apartment doesn't have great sunlight but my apartment is tucked in a corner, so not all of the units have this issue.

Great Place to Live
I have loved living at the Brookland. It is close to the Riverwalk, and you are close to downtown, but outside the hustle and bustle. It is a 6-minute drive to school for me. The maintenance staff is wonderful and responsive. My only issue is that there is some road noise from Meeting Street, but it is not bad.

Great place to live
This apartment complex is great. It is right next to the riverwalk. The management is also amazing which is really surprising. When you submit a maintenance request they respond within a day or two. The apartments are very nice and pretty soundproof as well.
