Not worth the rent
The apartment is renovated and clean, and the 24h security guards are all very kind and helpful. However, it is not woth the very high rent. The laudnry room has been closed since October and the rent ended up being significantly more expensive than a comparable no laundry in building leases you can find off campus. The super never returns calls or emails even during emergency situation when water was flooding from the pipes and heaters, so I always have to ask for assistance from the other super that is in charge of non-Columbian tenants. The heater broke for several days in December when the weather was -5 F.

Old infrastructure
This winter the pipes in the entire building began to crack and flooded multiple apartments. Because of the old infrastructure, the heating in the building went out for 4 days in peak winter.
Despite the buildings old infrastructure, the staff has been tremendously helpful and very proactive and I’m grateful for them.
