The Cottages From a First-Year
I love the cottages. It is fairly quiet with a gym nearby (walking distance). There is a walking trail directly behind it with a gas station and convenience store down the street. There is free parking as well! Unfortunately, there is no gym, pool, or community area for these apartments. The bus stop to get to campus is visible from my room!

Overall A Good Place To Live
Cottages at NOCA are overall a good place to live. Property management can be difficult to deal with and maintenance can take a week or longer to address issues, especially at move-in. The unit itself is nice with mostly modern appliances, and is generally very quiet and in a safe neighborhood. It is close to a gym (anytime fitness that requires a separate membership) and is relatively close to MSU, about 15 minutes by car, or there is a CATA line just outside of the apartments. Essentially zero amenities, so the rent is a bit high (1205) for what you get.
