I got what I paid for
I realize in the grand scheme of things, I pay pretty cheap rent to live by myself in a one bedroom apartment, so for what I’m getting, it’s pretty good. Management doesn’t always respond as quickly as I would like them to for my issues, but eventually things get done if I’m persistent enough. The facilities aren’t the nicest, but I do like having a pool and a gym on site regardless. Sometimes there are pests, I’ve only seen a few of them, mostly in the hallways but a few in my apartment; I don’t love that of course but it hasn’t been unmanageable with the building pest control and taking my own precautions. Truthfully though, it’s not that bad, apartments have bugs sometimes, I don’t think it’s anything abnormal, at least it hasn’t been in my experience, but maybe I just got lucky. In terms of my actual apartment thought, I really like the space. The features aren’t the most updated, but it’s a lot of space, lots of natural light, and I have a good size private balcony. Plus, it’s a one bedroom and not a studio, which I feel like is very hard to find at this price point. Also, because it’s an older building, I generally can’t hear my neighbors through the walls because of how it’s built. Overall, it’s a good space for only paying $930 + allocated utilities per month.

Only good for cheap-ish rent
Rent is cheap but they are incapable of getting repairs done in anything resembling a timely manner (my elevator has currently been broken for over a month) and there is a pest issue. Getting into the apartment is difficult if you are mobility impaired due to every single entrance but the front door requiring climbing multiple sets of stairs. The faux-wood floors are nice since it means you don't have to worry about carpet, but there are no overhead lights except for in the kitchen, bathrooms, and closets. There are also no fans.
