Rural and expensive

Wonderful place to live except the walls are thin. I can hear the 4-child family next door running around at all hours.

Ehhhh

It’s nicer than anything you’ll find in Hartford. There is a lot of grass and areas to walk and have pets. I think it’s very expensive but I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, and a 2 car garage townhome.

It was a great value when I first moved to the complex in June 2020. COVID was at its peak and I had been living 4 minutes away from the law school in a tough part of town. I was willing to extend my search to outside of Hartford because the law school had elected to be remote the entire 2020-2021 school year. I did not see the value in being close to the school. Plus the apartment building I was in only had one entrance for a few hundred residents and I felt uncomfortable with all the close contact I would continue to have with the other residents.

Here, I had a first floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment for $1,845 a month that had a private walk-our patio I could exit in and out of to avoid other residents and reduce my exposure. The tons of green gas and the beautiful views of Heublien Tower made it worth it to me. I was saving money on gas not commuting anywhere. Ultimately, I elected to stay there until January of my 3L year when I moved within the same complex to the Townhome I am in now.

The units are good size. I’ve had a roommate almost the entire time I’ve been in the complex. There has never been an issue over space.
