Helix Apartments Review
The things this apartment does great is the employees in the front office are very nice and the maintenance people respond very quickly. Additionally, my apartment has been upgraded with hardwood floors (other than the bedroom), stainless steel appliances, and I have two balconies.
When you first look at the apartments, they are beautiful. However, there are so many issues. First, the outlets are quite terrible. When you plug items in, many times the cord just falls out of the outlet. Second, the drawers have no wheels so when you pull them out, they are rough. Third, I don't have heavy things in the cabinets but the cabinets have started to bow on the bottom. Fourth, things frequently fall off the walls such as towel racks and toilet paper roll holders.
Amenities include a pool, small dog run, and small gym. My biggest issue with this apartment complex is the price. You can find a luxury apartment in Summerlin for the same price. Also neighborhood is not very safe.
Location is dependent on what you value. If you work in the arts district, downtown, or the medical district, then it's great that you live so close. But there are hardly any great things nearby, it is not safe to walk to places, and there's no greenery.
